Join Kripalu Yoga teacher, Ali Janavaris for a night of peaceful meditation. Activate the 'relaxation response' part of yourself, the body's natural healing state. All you have to do to activate this part of yourself is lie down in savasana and listen! Ali will lead you through a feeling experience addressing each of the five koshas which represent the complete person. Tune into the physical body, energy, mind/emotion, intuition/wisdom, and bliss/healing bodies. This is a practice of inner awareness and inner peace. Bring awareness to the sacred parts of yourself to calm and rejuvenate the whole system - mind, body, and soul.


About Ali:

Ali grew up attending local yoga classes. It wasn't until her senior year of college - when she acknowledged an overwhelming feeling of imbalance living inside. What she was pursuing didn't align with her truth. She needed some time to realize this. After some real talk, she decided after graduation she would take a much-needed break from the go-go-go world she lived in. In choosing to take this detour to slow down, it helped her to discover what was truly important. She felt what Danna Faulds puts so beautifully... "Don't fear the end of one life cycle and the beginning of the next. Let your seeds be spread far and wide, and know that some will grow, a whole new expression of your essence and gifts lifting their leaves to the sunlight." During this detour period, she deepened her yoga practice by earning her 200 hour Kripalu yoga teaching certification. She then began teaching yoga. She also furthered her education in meditation, and began teaching meditation. 

When Ali is not teaching, she is taking science courses to learn more about anatomy and physiology. Ali expresses that this has been an unexpected chapter in her life, but it feels oh-so-delicious doing what feels natural and right.  Ali's goal is to share the wisdom and power of yoga and meditation with all people. Through this, she aims to support students in their healing journeys to discover their true, soulFUL, and loveable selves. In slowing down, and tuning in, she invites this quote from Danna Faulds to be the guide for the relationship between her and her students: "Together we will find the shared and timeless language of our humanness." ❤



Workshop Refund Policy: 

Full payment is required to reserve a space in workshops. All workshops are non-refundable. Due to limited space and high demand for some workshops we have a 24 hour cancelation policy. Cancelations made more than 24 hours in advance will be issued studio credit. No credit will be given for cancelations made less than 24 hours.
