About Cara:

Cara Gilman is a yoga teacher, run motivator, and mom. First runner, then yogi, Cara found yoga like how most of us do, through countless injuries and the need for a consistent stretching practice. Little did she know, that yoga would forever change her life personally, and professionally.

After 6 months of teaching, she left her corporate job to start her own business and now after teaching for almost 10 years, she has had the honor of teaching at the best studios in Boston, being an ambassador to lululemon, Fitbit, and Sweetgreen to name a few, a guest faculty teacher at Kripalu, to teach yoga for runners classes for Runners World and at the Boston Marathon expo, to be featured in top publications like Self, Competitor and Boston Magazines, and to found RUNYOGA, a running community that blends the practices of running and yoga together through mindfulness.

Cara also has 15+ years of running experience with completing 9 marathons, has completed countless yoga teacher trainings; including traveling to India to complete her advanced yoga teacher training certification, has led yoga teacher training workshops and modules for YogaWorks, Radiant Yoga, and Back Bay Yoga, and is a mom to 4 year old daughter, Madelyn, two year old son, Ethan, and a 5 year old pup, Rudy.

About Joy:

Joy Orpin always wanted to be a mom, but when infertility threatened to squash her dream, the passionate athlete and physical therapist took to research and problem-solving to help her body be in its optimal state of health and wellness. It was around this time she learned about the problem with the ingredients in our skin and body products, and not only that the endocrine disruptors may have contributed to her infertility, but some ingredients may contribute to things like cancer, eczema, headaches, and depression amongst other health concerns. Since then, it has been her mission to help women not only look and feel their best, but also learn how they can remove toxins from their everyday care routine. Joy loves having fun with her friends, and finding ways to be active and in community. In her spare time, you may find her playing flag football in a local women’s 30-plus league, paddle boarding off the coast in her home in Swampscott, dancing it up anywhere there may be music, or coaching soccer and lacrosse for her three kids. She has aligned with Pure Haven, a company based right in Rhode Island. At Pure Haven, their mission is to empower consumers to become more aware of this enormous issue, and to help them fill their homes with pure, safe, choices that give incredible results! Their flagship product is their innovative refresh skincare line made with pre+probiotics that have been clinically shown to reverse aging, without any harmful chemicals.
