Acu-Yoga

Acu-Yoga with Molly Williams & Zoe Culbertson

Saturday, September 28, 2019

2:00-4:30 PM

$35 in advance | $40 day-of

Experience the ancient arts of yoga, shiatsu, Reiki, and acupuncture in one revitalizing practice!

Licensed acupuncturist, shiatsu practitioner and herbalist, Zoe Culbertson, and certified yoga instructor, life coach, and Reiki Master, Molly Williams, combine multiple healing modalities to help harmonize your body and mind as we shift into fall.

Yin yoga – a slow, meditative practice appropriate for all levels– offers a sense of deep stretching while actually “stressing” and strengthening the deeper connective tissues.  Most poses are held for 1--5 minutes, on the ground, allowing time and gravity to gradually open the body and stimulate the organ systems and meridians activated this time of year. As you are introduced to the Chinese medicine principles that govern our body’s health and energy, you will learn how to activate your own acupressure points to unblock energy and benefit your immune system. Throughout the practice, you will receive lots of hands-on assists and shiatsu.

The workshop culminates in a deeply nourishing, extended 30-minute savasana with guided meditation, Reiki, and an optional mini-acupuncture treatment! Appropriate for all levels.
