Life ebbs and flows; presenting obstacles as well as opportunities. It’s up to you to decide on how you react to what occurs. Do you freeze or do you flow on?

Yoga is a practice for Monia. A practice of measure, discipline, fluidity & structure. It’s a tool that allows her to understand the dynamic of how she functions as a human in this world. How she holds herself up, how she navigates. Without tools, there is no way to refine. She uses this practice to continue to refine. To take measures. To hold her ground well.

Yoga is one of the many tools that has been transformative for Monia throughout her experience with endometriosis. Her practice ranges between fluidity, grounding & structure. Fluid when she needs to move the waters and get a current going. Grounding when she needs to root into her foundation-- to hold herself up well. Structural when she needs to recalibrate and realign.

Class with Monia

Class with Monia is dynamic, playful and structural. She focuses on the foundations and alignment so that the postures build strength but also make space for growth within the body. Students can expect to flow with breath and to build awareness to access the body as a whole.
