Lisa Poto

Lisa first began her yoga practice in her early teens as a way to help with her anxiety and self esteem issues. She fell in love with the practice.

In 2018, she completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training at Barre & Soul. She is a member of the Yoga Alliance, and she completed her online training in Chinese Medicine for Yoga.

After graduating, she began her teaching by forming a community based weekly yoga class to people of all ages and levels. Beyond the asanas, she wanted to bring a sense of community and connection that traveled beyond the yoga mat.

She has had the wonderful opportunity to teach a variety of classes from chakra based, gentle flow and yin yoga.

She is a teacher, but will forever be a student. She believes the more we learn the more we can understand.
