Daphne Ramos

Daphne began her yoga journey back in 2007 during a series of life transitions. Since then, yoga has become a constant in her life, offering vitality, awareness and spiritual grounding.  She has been teaching since 2017 and has completed more than 500 hours of yoga teacher training, with certifications from Baptiste Institute and Yoga Medicine Institute. While her foundations are in Vinyasa Power Yoga, Daphne has also trained in teaching Yin and Restorative Yoga, and she loves to offer these more introspective practices whenever possible. Taking a holistic approach to yoga and wellness, Daphne is a Reiki Master Practitioner, trained under Gurdeep Bhogal RMT.  She is also a Yoga Therapeutic Specialist, after completing in-depth training in anatomy, physiology and principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, as they apply to healing yoga practices.

In her classes, Daphne leads students through fluid sequences of movement, focusing on breath and tuning into one’s natural rhythms. She views yoga as a dynamic practice, encouraging openness to whatever unfolds on the mat. With her gentle demeanor, she guides students to move rhythmically, shift focus inward and attune to the present - creating a balance between strength and serenity.
